Humble Bundle で開催中の The Humble Introversion Bundle の販売数が 180,000 を超え、Introversion の Developer が喜んでいる。

180,000 という数字は今までで一番売れた Darwania のものよりも大きいらしい。Bundle の販売前と比べると2倍のプレイヤーが Introversion のゲームをプレイしたことになるようだ。このコメントの「プレイした」というのは正確な言い方では無いのだけど、とにかくたくさんのゲームが売れて嬉しいらしい。
また、利益についても軽く教えてくれている。

大体寄付額の 1/4 ほどを貰えるとのこと。Humble Bundle は寄付者が指定した寄付金の分け方を尊重してくれているらしい。Humble Bundle が残り1日となった現在は「$742,912.64」が総寄付額。この 1/4 はおおよそ $180,000～190,000、1400～1500万円ほど。喜んでくれたようで何より。私も寄付した甲斐があった。ブログでは他にも、2011年の3月から Introversion Bundle の計画をしてきたことや、色々と準備が大変だった事も書かれている。
なお、今回の Humble Bundle で Star Trek に出ていた俳優の Wil Wheaton から Twitter でコメントを貰えて嬉しかった様子。

It may seem like an odd highlight given the massive success of this bundle, but Star Trek : The Next Generation was a massive show for me and Mark when we were teenagers. I used to watch it literally every evening, thanks to endless nightly repeats on Sky Tv. Having a character from that show - Wesley Crusher - directly messaging us is like being contacted from another world, one that has never previously been accessible. I guess that’s the power of twitter, it doesn’t obey the usual actor/viewer divide. Mark says he actually met Wil Wheaton once at a Star Trek convention, but he was too star struck to open his mouth. So you’ll understand why when Will says “thank you for making such wonderful games. Uplink has consumed my life!” on Twitter, it’s quite a big deal. ...
Star Trek の Wesley Crusher。Wil Wheaton は Dungeons & Dragons などもプレイするゲーマーなので、Humble Bundle の事もどこかから知ったのだろう。彼は Uplink を気に入ったらしい。「TV で見ていたあの有名人から直接お言葉を貰えた」というのはやはり感動もの。その表現として「アナザーワールドからコンタクトされたかのようだ」とたとえるのは面白い。
