今月の所感
今月はマイナーなゲームが多いです。
人気なのは「Deus Ex - Mankind Divided」「Fallout 1」「Fallout 2」でしょう。
「Fallout 1」「Fallout 2」は以前も提供されましたし、そもそもゲームが古いのでプレイする気が起きない人がほとんどだと思います。
となると、「Deus Ex - Mankind Divided」が今月の目玉でしょうか。サイバーパンク・ステルス・RPG。評価も高く、悪くないゲームです。
ちなみに、Amazon Studios 制作のドラマ「Fallout」シーズン2は 12/17 にやっと公開となります。楽しみですね。
本当は知名度的にも金額的にも「LEGO® 2K Drive」が目玉なような気がしますが、私はレゴのゲームにそんなに興味が無いです。レゴブロックは良いおもちゃだと思いますが…。
私はレゴのゲームは全部偽物をプレイしている感じがあります。レゴのスターウォーズとか、レゴのバットマンとかありますが、レゴを介してプレイするのでは無く、本物のスターウォーズのゲームとかをプレイした方が面白いでしょう。
レゴが作り出すユニバースに全く興味がありません。レゴのゲームは知名度の割にレビューが少ないので、私と同じように感じている人が多いのかもしれません。
個人的に目を惹かれたのは「ボウと月夜の碧い花 / Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus」、「Dreamscaper」の2つ。
「ボウと月夜の碧い花」は日本の民話が舞台のメトロイドヴァニア。似たデザインのゲームを見かけたような気がしますが…。
発売が 2024/7 と新しめで、Steamでのレビュー評判も「非常に好評」です。日本の民話が舞台というのが珍しい。
「Dreamscaper」はローグライク・アクションゲーム。ダンジョンに潜ってキャラクターを強化していくというよくあるタイプのゲームですが、徐々に強くしていくのは面白い。
見た目も悪くないのですが、ややすっきりしすぎたゲーム画面が気になります。Unity のアセット感がありますね。Unity で作られているかは知りませんが。インディー開発なので仕方が無いところもあります。
「GYLT」は名前は知っている人が多いような気がします。ホラー・アドベンチャーゲームです。
Steamでは 2023年にリリースとなっていますが、元々は Google Stadia で 2019年に独占発売されたゲームです。2023年に Stadia がサービス終了となり、他のプラットフォームで販売されました。
クリアまで短いようなのでカジュアルゲーム的にプレイしたり、動画配信したりするには適しているかもしれません。ゲームの評価は高いです。
今月の提供ゲームは、うーん、微妙なところですね。やや期待外れか、そこそこか。
「Deus Ex - Mankind Divided」「ボウと月夜の碧い花」「Dreamscaper」の3つでまぁまぁでしょうか。
